Extended Clutch Fluid Line for jackaroo slave (bypass hose)
ADR APPROVED CLUTCH FLUID AND DAMPENER BYPASS VALVE TO SUITE THE JACKAROO SLAVE WHEN INSTALLED TO A 4jj1.
We have developed this product as a hose extension when replacing the standard factory slave cylinder with a jackaroo slave cylinder. as well as to relieve the pain and stress of bleeding the clutch system when installing a new slave cylinder. With the dampener removed and bypassed bleeding the clutch is a breeze.
Express postage Australia wide.
This product fits 2007-2011 Dmax, rodeo and Rc Colorado slave.
How to bleed the system (a guide for those with minimal tools) two people needed.
Make sure the adjustment in the cab is correct (make sure there is free play and the pedal isn’t too high) you may have to shorten the rod.
Open the bleed nipple on the slave and allow fluid to gravity bleed for at least 5 minutes or around 50mm if fluid.
Monitor the fluid level.
After that, one person in the cab. Pump pedal 6 times (the pedal may have to be pumped by hand as it might get stuck at the bottom) hold pedal down, then the other person underneath opens the bleed nipple to allow air to release, then tighten and repeat until the pedal is firm.
Please note that the factory dampener does serve a purpose, that purpose being to remove feedback from the Driveline to the pedal meaning bypassing this dampener can increase feedback to the pedal in particular engine harmonics when changing gears.
